"The Queen" for my friends Cindy and Mitsue.

QE 11

Sketch of Lt Cdr J E Eyton-Jones.

This is the story behind the Lt Cdr Eyton Jones artwork we first put up a few years ago. I knew a friend of EJ's.Well I met David Morgan, and than I heard a story of how EJ, and another pilot were lost, and that they may have collided, which is why they never found a trace of either pilot!.

Eyton-Jones

I thought this story was very sad, which is why I initially did the drawing, of this pilot. I heard his daughter who never met her father, was looking for photos of her dad. I posted a reference to him and my art on a Prune forum, but I never got a response from her.

Admirably:

John Glenn

I used about 5 or 6 different photos as reference to complete this highly accurate sketch of John Glenn.
